Default Cobra R wheels on an XJ???

So....I picked up some Cobra R's for my Ranger......dirt cheap. The more I looked at them, the more I liked the thought of them on the Jeep instead of the Ranger. I know the bolt pattern will work but what about backspacing? Anyone know the backspacing of Cobra R wheels offhand?

I can also get some 31"/ 17" Discovery's cheap, to go with the R's........

If they are original cobra r wheels from 95 they are 5x4.5 17x9. I know a bunch of other manufactures make knock off's that come in both 5x4.5 and 5x4.25. Google says 5.98" backspacing.

Im kind of interested to see how these would look. not a big fan of 17s on an xj but yea i think it would look unique. do a test fit w/o tires just to get the look of it down. And TAKE PICTURES.

I was never a fan of larger diameter wheels on XJ'S either but I got these on a labor trade deal with a friend. Another customer of mine has a set of nearly new Discoverys (32/10.5/17) that he said I could have for $200.

So basically, I'd have another set of wheels and rubber for less than $300. So what if they are 17's. If I end up not liking them one the XJ, I'll lift the Ranger 3" and stick them on there.
