Why? What's wrong with the horn switch that is already there? I don't get what you're trying to achieve.

That's what I've been trying to figure out.

He probably wants to retain the horn button for normal horn usage.

yes I wanted to retain the normal horn, and I wanted it to be hidden in plain sight. I figured it out today and got it working.

Why? What is the purpose of hiding the horn switch? Everyone has a horn, so there is no point in hiding the switch in plain sight. I just don't get why somebody would go through so much trouble just for a horn switch when there's one in the center of the steering wheel already. Do you plan on making your volume **** go to eleven so you can be one louder?

I thought it would be a cool idea to try, my cigarette lighter didn't do anything anyway because it wasn't plugged in so I wanted to try it to try it. Have you ever done something just to do it?

Yeah, look at my build thread. A lot of work for 12 dollars worth of lights.

I think it's a pretty cool idea. Glad you got it working. I'm now thinking of things I can use my cigarette lighter to trigger. Maybe some high-voltage lines to the seat springs so when somebody steals my **** and decides to light up they get... well, lit up. Might not stop the theft but it would be damned funny.

I installed a push-on, push-off, AC bypass switch in the cigar lighter hole.

Question Ken. Why would you have an AC bypass switch? Wouldn't it be as simple as turning the AC off? Just curious.
