Whats the best tool for chopping fenders? I want a nice clean cut????

I used a cutoff wheel and a little bit with a jigsaw. Cleaned up rough edges with a dremel.

I used an angle grinder and cut off wheel. Then cleaned it up with a flap disc

make sure that if you have a newer xj to not cut into the wash fluid res on the drivers side

does anyone have a link to show how to fold the rear quarter from the bottom, ive already folded around the wheel well on mine, i figured the same type of process cut slits then hammer it...

Jigsaw. Much faster and cleaner than a grinder. Put tape on the feet so you don't scratch the **** out of your paint though.

i taped off area to cut with scotch tape. put my cut line on the tape. used a variable speed jig saw with the finest metal blade i could find. i let it go slow and let the blade do all the work. smooth as silk.
