Well guess what. The people from the gulf of mexico have had to deal with this exact same situation year after year. So now suddenly i have to feel bad for them. Not gonna happen

Not feel bad, just don't be glad that their houses burned down, but good news I did spot the crispy remains of a jk on the news so you can be happy about that.

Last I heard Fema was putting in modular homes that could be expanded into real houses after the disaster. They got it easy... Well, besides having to endure the irony of your neighborhood burning to the ground in the middle of a torrential downpour during a hurricane :/

Easy? So now we've devolved to saying "My storm can beat up your storm!"??

That's truly pathetic man, and I'm not saying that to insult you, I'm saying it because I want you to realize that to someone who just lost every possession of theirs except for maybe their cell phone and the clothes they were wearing, they PROBABLY don't feel any different than any one person who lived through Katrina.

You can say the region wasn't hit as hard or the city wasn't hit as hard but don't belittle the plight of the people who just lost EVERYTHING.
