Nice just cleaned out my backseat/cargo area and stuck most of it under that rear seat. Can't believe i never thought of that. Sometimes it's the simple things

I removed the passenger airbag and had my buddy weld me a custom airtight/watertight lock box, mounted it in there and then put the plastic all back on like normal.

To get to it, you open the glove box, unscrew the screws holding the panel covering the airbag down and zing you've got access to an airtight/watertight steel lock box.

I don't have any pics, as I recently rolled and totaled my XJ when I fell asleep driving on the highway, but it was a pretty nifty thing to have ya know, keep your wallet and cash and other good stuff in there.

saw a custom made locking cover for the small cubby in the rear. Looked and worked pretty good. Guy just took a piece of thin plate, cut it to fit, attached a key lock and some hinges and presto, locking storage that looked near factory.

For really small things if you don't have a center console, the plastic around the e-brake handle swings up

No need to make one. The XJ is full off stash spots. I usually hide HER in one of these locations. An oinker might see these but, oh well. What are the chances of them pulling me over?

^ HAHA! Nice. I wish my rear view was the same as yours! Yeah there are a ton of little spots for hiding small items in these Jeeps. Mine is a 95 with the older interior, and there are just as many. Clean interior BTW!
