I like them a lot, wish I would have bought one back in the day when I was looking for a truck, got a Mazda instead.

it would be cool to have one and throw a flatbed on it with a tollbox and spare mounted on the bed

I dont like stock mj's but if u throw a nice lift and tires I love it..i saw one up at a 4x4 shop here
(Jacksonville 4x4) here in NC .that was done up sorta like the military style xj's omg that thing was sweet.if I had my way id have my xj with a 4.5in lift on 35's for crawling. And an mj with 8-9in lift with 38's for mud.

Love em. That'a a great link to supper pics of various constructed Comanches.
We have an 89 for next resto. I'll build it, Daughter # 2 will run it. I'll have her review that link for some ideas and she can better describe to me what she would like to see in her rig.

I'm always thinking about them, I would love to get one for a second vehicle or if anything ever happens to my xj where its to the point of no return I would get one. If I wasnt so attached to my xj I would trade it for an mj.

lol all a MJ is basically is a XJ with a truck bed. In the end it's all about preference I guess.. Not the easiest thing to find a good clean MJ being that they were only made for a few years but there out there
