I'm over in Dalton. I like the look of BWs but they'd get torn off mine in a hurry.

What model is yours though? My cousin has some in the bow for a pre 97 XJ 4 door. He'll sell real cheap I'm sure.

mines a 95, are they any different for the 2 and 4 door models? cause i got a 2 door, if it wouldnt require a whole lot of modification, id very likely be interested

Sorry I didn't specify. I bought them off craigslist, all you have to do is search for them and ask the seller if he is willing to ship. I always see bushwackers selling for cheap on craigslist.

Quote: some of the guy at work at promised. no end caps though. had a rustys lift not sure how high but sitting on 35s. was a crapy day and cell pics hope these help.
looks like it was on a 6.5" lift or so: sits pretty high, but looks good.

that's basically want i want to do with mine: Bushwackers, 35's, 6.5 lift, stock bumpers but with the Backbone system from Detours. or, i if can find some used flat rear flares off a TJ/YJ, i want to mount those front and rear.

i've seen a couple bad ones with Bushwackers. because they do give a really open appearance, if the wheels are smaller and you are going for looks, the just don't look right. there is some guy with a white 4 door who had the BW's on, but he ran really narrow tires with the stock wheels, and it just didn't fill out the wheel wells.

yeah it does sit kind of high and looks good too on 35s. i was thinking of trying to fit 35s with claytons 6 long arm lift with maybe some 4.5" springs, trying to keep a low cog maybe with rustys flares dont know if that set up will work or not though and clear 35s. have to do some research. i would love to sit only 4.5" high on 35s.

^it'll work, but you will need to toss on some extended bump stops to keep form ripping the fenders off. and trim your fenders to the max.

ok cool. was looking and dont look like you can trim much on the rear but a whole lot on the front. i would like to maximize my up travel not limit it too much but deffanitaly dont want to smash my fenders.

yeah, the rears are a little less forgiving. you also have to take into account just how much travel you will get. too much without bump stopping or any type of up-wards restriction, you'll be ripping things off left and right, as well as tearing your tires apart.
