Default Cheep gas tank strap fix

Hello everyone just fixed that hanging gas tank.
The strap on one side was hanging, bolts was broke. Went to Home Depot and bought a 8 1/4 inch clothes line hook for $2.00 works perfectly. Would post a picture if I knew how.

good job.
but i hope, just like your username entitles, you do not have to go through inspection, cause, i'm sure that clothesline hook will not pass.

for what it's worth, gas tank straps are relatively inexpensive and readily available.

I guess I should have mentioned the place where the nub on the original bolt rotted out that's why I used to hook. My mechanic said he couldn't fix it. Works great and a lot beefier than the original bolt. No inspection hence the name.

Lowes and Home Depot should go up against auto zone lol. I'm there more than the auto part store.
