Wow, makes me glad I bought my 33"s when I did. I paid 156/ea for them. That was like 6 months ago.
Anyways, I found that it was cheapest for me to purchase the wheels online (summit racing) then bring them to a local discount tire for the tires. It ended up being cheapest by about 80 bucks.

Who said he even would air down? Everybody on here assumes that EVERYBODY wheels their rigs. And no. My 235/75/15s didn't stretch much to a 15x8. But that might just have been the tires I was running.Originally Posted by dogger15

You are ASSUMING that he doesn't wheel. He never said yes or no. Also the recommended wheel size for a 235x75x15 tire is a 15x7 wheel. Based off his pic. I'm taking a wild guess that he off roadsOriginally Posted by jcwclm

Yes I wheel haha. But alot of agressive street driving. I will talk to my buddy at the tire shop and get a garranty that a replace due to the wider rim. Haha we'll see how that hoes.

I'm not trying to start an argument to pollute the thread, just saying that people need to know all the facts before giving advice.Originally Posted by dogger15

if i dont know the facts them show us a chart that shows a 235/75/15 tire and what rim width they have. also if you get it to fit on there it would be like putting a 10.50 tire on a 10 rim but even worse, less tire to stretch outOriginally Posted by jcwclm

I would think that because of the stretch of 235/75 on 15x8 the tires would wear unevenly, more so in the middle. You would be better off with 15x7 for that size in my personal opinion.
