Cheap lift ideas
Ok well I'm sure y'all have heard this question many times but I feel compelled to ask for myself. What are some cost affective ways to lift my jeep, I have a 1999 jeep grand Cherokee limited with the 4.0. It's 2wd. I'm just looking to put some bigger tires on it. It's not that I'm cheap I just don't have alot of money to spend. And it's hard enough convincing the wife to let me do anything to my jeep. My buddy is going to give me a set of wild country 33x10's now I know I'm gonna need wheel spacers, but what would be cost effective, yet not kill me the first time I go mudding.
Thank you in advance for any help!

well if you read the first post ud see hes got a zj not an xj. but still awesome xj bb stuff!
anyways, you can go acos spacers on your coils. usually get 2" max though. dont no if thatll clear 33's. but that can help the cause. if you want you can trim and bumpstop and then ull b able to clear 33's. but if its sposed to look "pretty" or its a daily driver that might not be for you.
my only other advice is to safe up for a good 4.5" even if it's next year. save 10$ outa every pay check and it'll pay off. that way, you can do it right the first time, and ull be happy you did.
other than that, im not a grand cherokee guy, so i dont no much about what junkkyard mix and match parts fit/ lift a grand cherokee.
hope i could help

Thank you for the suggestions, I have some money already put aside, and the only reason I'm saying 33's is because they were given to me by a friend who wrecked his jeep. I'm not one fore piecing things together, I'd rather do it right once then constantly fix it if done wrong, or "cheap"
