So I changed my exhaust Manifold and My 02 sensor (NKT) and Cleaned my injectors hoping for 16-18mpg out of the deal. Nope went from 14.4 to 14.9. I still feel a little miss when It idles. Cleaned throttle body as well. Performence it great now with the throttle body cleaned. but my God no change in MPG after putting $300+ into her. I have a 3" lift on 225's thats pretty much it. Its a 97', Im upest because there guys on hear with some serious mods and 33's and they still get better MPG.

I personally was fighting a miss and bad performance recently and it all was due to a horribly dirty fuel filter. Just a thought

I'm going through the same thing bro. These won't get great mileage. I've put in maybe 5 grand and have gone from 10 MPGs to 13 MPGs.

Just gotta get used to it

Did you do a hard reset on the ecu?

I DCed the battery terminals and touched them together for 30 sec than turned the light switch on turned the ign switch to on and pushed in on the brakes. I believe that is how to reset the ECU. I just dont understand how so many jeeps with basicly the same mods can have such a wide range of MPG's. I live out in the country so I am usually driving around 45-55 mph. My jeep is a 97 so I believe to replace the fuel filter I have to replace he whole sending unit.
