in the very near future i plan on buying some cragar V-5s from summitracing, i havent had any luck finding used rims for the 32s i bought. i noticed that the cragar center caps are $14 a piece. $56 seems a little steep for 4 center caps, i already have to buy 5 rims and get them all mounted and balanced. does anyone know of any alternatives for way cheaper center caps?

last time the same auction was held, they sold for 9.99, and im not 100% sure they'l work either... but im pretty sure...

 

If you currently have stock steel wheels, you can re use those center caps. You just have to drill a few small holes in the wheels

 

nice find, but don't worry I'm not gonna outbid you on something that you showed me that you want. That guys a power seller so maybe he'll have another set once I have my rims. Also, the eBay ones are 3.25 diameter and the cragar ones are 3.300, idk if it's really enough to make a difference or not.

 

well if you wanna go real cheap i seen a thread somewhere . where the guy made is own from recycled margarine containers . he painted em black and they didnt look bad ... sorry i couldnt find the thread for you ..

 

get the I.D. (INNER DIAMETER) of the hole in the wheel and let me know i will find some for you

 

get the Gorilla center caps. they are way cheaper at $4.00 a piece. just like you, i couldn't see myself spending $15.00 per center cap.
