Anyone use this CB Hood Mount off Amazon?

There is one review on there from a XJ owner and wondering if its worth it.

 

I have but since moved to the rear tail light area and soon moving to the roof Im sure I have one if you want to buy. post office if it ships 5 bucks i think plus make me an offer for bracket. I don't want to steer you wrong but the best place for cb antenna is mounted to the roof.

 

I think the best place for the antenna is on the tail light, where mine is.

 

The best place cb reception wise would be in the middle of the vehicle on the roof.. But for other reasons I have mine mounted at the taillight too.

 

I am planning on a magnetic roof mount for my XJ to put it center moutned on the roof. I've already had a tree branch take off my radio antenna, Some trails I go on bring the rear extremely close to rocks so best place for mine would be on the Roof or centered on a swingout tire carrier

 

I'm not a fan of mag mount. Mine fell off when I went to about 60mph. That's why I'm looking into a hood mount.

 

I ended up buying the hood mount recently. Now to hook up coax and stuff.
