How should the ball joints look on my front end?? Should the be strait up and down from one another or no?

nope top should be slightly more inward.

the reason is when you turn it tilts the wheel to make sure you turn and still have traction

just assemble it all and get a professional alignment and then adjust accordingly

btw if you have adjustable control arms you want to base it all off pinion angle for "caster", camber you can only do through adjustable ball joints and then toe in and toe out you can do via a tape measure
