Saw the ending last night.

Tom Hank's wife re-married while he was gone. She said she never believed he was dead, but her friends convinced her to find someone else.

While this was devastating to him, she did save his XJ for him. She even kept it in the garage.

At least he didn't have to kill himself!

 

I wonder what was in the package.

I was thinking about this movie a couple of weeks ago. Nice of her to save his Xj! Tom Hanks is awesome.

Just remembering how Helen Hunt was driving that Yellow M-716 looking jeep pickup in "Twister". I always did like her!

 

This is my favorite movie, over any other film I've ever seen. Plus all the XJ shots just make it that much better! I think its a 99 Sport he has, with upcountry package possibly? because it has front hooks haha.

 

It was a J10 she drove not a M-715...

Yeah, I think you're right. Good looking truck though, even after it fell out of the sky.

 

I think his plane was supposed to have gone down in 1995, so if his XJ was a 1999 model then you have caught another moviemaker "oops".

It couldn't have been the same truck he had from before the crash.

Speaking of the crash, that bit where he floats up right in front of the jet engine was pretty wild.

The Levi Package had some stripes and the seat were covered in Levi Jean material..
