You guys think glossy rims would look good on a flat desert tan paint job. I'll be painting my xj soon. Since the jegs are so cheap, I'm might just go with those

They also crack instead of bending. I only buy steelies.
Sorry to run an old post back up, but how easy do they crack? You like the steel cause they'll just bend instead but it would take a lot to bend it. Well maybe if your riding with no ai in your tires and smoke a curb it'll bend but how easy is it to crack them? I want the Mickey Thompson side biters (which are alloy) and I do offroad a lot and go on rocks. But I do the same with my steeliness and have never bent them. Just looking for more insight is all. And I think the gloss would look good on your jeep drummer!Originally Posted by NewKindOfClown

Not easily at all. You've got to be really wheeling hard (and be little low on common sense} to crack a quality alloy wheel.
I've been wheeling for a long time and haven't cracked one or seen it first hand either.

I agree with this. My point is only that if I'm in that scenario, I would rather have steelies. I overbuild so I don't have to worry.Originally Posted by SeriousOffroad

I don't blame you. Overbuilding makes sense if you want something to last!Originally Posted by NewKindOfClown

I don't know if I have the lowest price or not.
Hopefully that's not the most important aspect of your buying decision. There's something to be said for customer service.

Ill most likely get them from you guys. The price seems decent. And if the product is quality I won't need any further customer service! LolOriginally Posted by SeriousOffroad
