Can you ID this spare tire mount?
I would LOVE to get my spare out of the back of the Cherokee, but most of the mounts I've seen require a new bumper as well.
Then I saw this guy this morning...
Anyone know who makes this mount? Looks perfect for what I want.

A better question is what kind if paint job is that O.o. But I believe that is the tire carrier that came stock with a few XJ's. search the JY.

Yup. It's stock.
They also made a different on that mounted to the bumper and quarter panel just below the side window and latched to the center of the bumper.
I actually have one of those if you'd like to purchase it with all the necessary hardware to install it.

Well, I don't plan on getting anything larger than 30s, would they work for that?
And what are my options? I really don't want to shell out a bunch for a bumper just so I can spend ANOTHER bunch on a spare tire mount. Are there any aftermarket mounts that don't require a whole new bumper?

Mine is still on, holding a 34 inch super swamper LTB. I just spent the last year wheeling in the Rockies in Colorado. Still can't believe the wife talked me into moving to Kansas city.

held my 32 and 33 spare just fine. it can handle a fair amount of weight. i made new bushings for the swing on the lathe and it worked great.
seems like a lot of people prefer the other style, but either way, i got really tired of not seeing much through the back window, so i tossed it all in the scrap bin.
