Default Can I go bigger on my tires?

Currently sporting the 225/75/15 on stock jeep rims.

Can I go any bigger on the rims I currently have ( what size would fit)?
I need tires for winter, and using stock rims, would like to get a more agressive , "nobby" tread looking tires.
pics, styles, brands... I have no clue.

thx boys!

I you have a 96 or older you can stuff 31s under with a minimal rubbing and with 97-01 you can only fit 30s.
I suggest you get a budget boost(shackles &spacers) along with 31s either way and they shouldn't rub.

Spacers will help, with rubbing when turning but they are not necessary..I had a 93 with the same size tire on stock wheel and it would only rub a little if I turn completely on the control arm.

Well I have no clue what brand or anything, i was looking for something with some terrain and tread for a more aggressive look, the tires on it now look more like for a sedan.. LOL! but I need to keep the rims I have and not lift the jeep right now. ( no funds for that right now). i will check out ANY and aLL suggestions for you all. ( I ♥ this forum)!

Guess i should mention, as much as I want to tires to look and be cool, I will have my 5 year old son in the jeep with me, and safty and dependability is priority one, so I have to take that in account also. no rubbing, or 'shoes" that will wear out in a season... just sayin....

What kind of driving conditions do you encounter? Treadwright is the best for ANYBODY on a budget.

I drive a 2005 Mustang GT mostly - this jeep cherokee was from my Grandpa, and will now be used in wet and snowy weather ( missouri - were the weather changes every 5 minutes)
So in a few months will be my daily driver in all weather elements, including using the 4x4 in snow. Not looking to off road it or anything , just highway and town driving.

Duratracs. Or if you want to go cheaper,

or

I actually have both of those in the same size. Awesome tires for the price.
