Oh okay no big deal just wanna make sure i don't rub, gonna be lifting it eventually anyways but just gonna start looking at a more aggressive tire for the winter, as I see something wet and muddy and tend to get drawn into it

I was running 31 inch tires on stock suspension,(31x10.5R15 it was only rubbing in the back when I would hit a hard bump full of passengers. In the front, it would only rub on the lower control arms at full lock (steering wheel turned all the way)

What year is your xj??

So then you should be fine. The only thing you loose is flex.....But you will be fine for the winter. I had zero issues driving in 24 inches of snow with mine.

You need to either cut your fenders or lift it.

Best way to do it is with a dremel or grinder wheel smooth cut and the back has to be cut and tucked if you Google it there are several step by steps on it
