A/C Clutch
I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport And the clutch for the A/C is starting to go bad. At first when it kicked on the squealing would stop, if the clutch was not engaged it would squeak/squeal (I think a bearing is wearing out)?
I was told that for my year Jeep that you can't just buy the clutchplate/assembly that you have to buy the whole unit (compresser) is this true? Meaning, it will cost for me to take it to get fixed instead of just putting on a clutch assembly. I sprayed W/D on it to stop squeal I guess that was a bad Idea now it tries to engage but won't quite kick in
Any Ideas? Thanks
