2) 3" lift my 99xj -550

lift XJ. if the MJ was 4x4 i would say get it.

I would love to own a MJ, but being 2wd kind of kills it... jeeps should be 4wd, no exceptions!


Lift the XJ, buy a 4wd MJ when you find one!

Then go to a jy and get a 4wd tranny, d30, and a t case

 

Buy the MJ. They are hard to find near me. So I would take a chance when one is available.

 

How expensive is it to do a t case drop? Does the mj need an sye if lifting like xj

 

Buy the Manche! Do it. I would. Except now that I have a bit of cash to play with they don't exist around here anymore.

Maybe talk the price down a bit and you could BB you XJ too.

 

I'd lift the XJ, but remember youre probably going to want new tires once you lift. A transfer case drop is usually around 30 bucks.


I have a feeling we're confusing the **** out of you. Whatever you do, you'll probably be happy you did it, just realize you can do the other later.
