Default bush wackers or more lift?

i have a 3 inch lift right now with some 33's rubs a little but nothing crazy. i want more room so it doesnt rub. should i get a set of bushwackers? or get a 2 iinch spacer kit to go on top my 3 inch lift?

any suggestions will help

Where do you wheel or what do you wheel rather. If your worried about being top heavy I would do the flairs. But to let you know if you do the spacers you might need a new track bar and possibly new links. Don't know how your set up now so I can't say for sure.

i live in md not to many places to wheel. i do know i few paths to the local power lines. some pretty good spots back there. i just have a stage II 3 inch lift frm rough country. i know if i get the spacers im going to need a new track bar and shocks maybe.

just getting other peoples input because im not sure which way to go

i would go with the lift if you wheel at all. wackers arent good around my part of town, the trees would shatter them.

go with the lift. The BW's will dwarf your tires and if you rub after putting them on, they'll just get tore up.

Ya it doesn't sound like you do a ton of extream angle wheeling so the lift would be fine. I'm not familiar with the exact lift you have. I don't know how long you lower arms are or if it came with uppers but going up to 5" its recommended I'm sure. Relocate the brake lines with the bracket. And the track bar. So without knowing what you have it is hard to say you might just need to buy the coils and toss them in or it could be a few hundo more in parts. Oh and if you wand to flex at all you will need longer shocks I'm sure. Some times it isn't as cheep and easy as we first think. But if you have the cash go for it. I would prob just sell the 3" and buy a 5 or 6 that way you have all you need and you don't put it together and find out your arms are not long enuf and you still rub cause your axle is now set back more toward the doors.

don't lift it any more than you need to. spacers don't give you flex and they just make you more top heavy. i wouldn't do bushwhackers either. slight trimming might benefit you more. just my 2 cents.

bushwackers don't really give you any more room, you do have to cut your fenders to install them, but they have a flat bottom that would be an inch lower than the cut fenders once installed anyways. your tires would just use them as bumpstops. i've been there, and removed them for that very reason.

they will get torn off if your tires don't stick out past them and will make your tires look tiny if they are tucked in also.

go for more lift and just cut what rubs.

I wouldn't put spacers on top of 3" springs to get higher. I have the RC 4.5" and my buddy has a RC 3". While you would think his lower center of gravity would give him less body roll, the softer springs used on the 3" completely void that out. His 3" leans all over the place with the swaybar disconnected, where as my 4.5" springs are stiff enough that I have almost no body roll without either swaybar, even though I sit higher. I could not imagine why anyone would want to add a higher center of gravity to softer 3" springs.

theres a few write ups on here and on naxja about how to trim your fenders and reuse the factory flares thats what i did and it looks good imo and saves you a bunch of money
