i guess no-one decided to keep the lower plastics under the bumper huh? im trying to leave that look and add a steel bumper to it. I have to find 2x6 steel cause the 2x4 isnt tall enough to cover the opening in the trim. back to the scrap yard.

no because most people try to gain clearance when building bumpers.

yeah i get that.i just dont want to cut fenders, but the clearance isnt a big thing for me right now. this is my work rig. My wheeler is a different story. 74' f100

kinda refer to that one as a street bumper........no one builds anything for the non wheelers....
