i know, im also wondering how to get a title or how high the chances are that this is stolen. I live in the ghetto, thats the first thing i thought when i saw this. It is in a nicer area though so idk

 

i would check with your local department of motor vehicle. provide them the VIN# and license # and the dept will be able to tell you if its stolen or not. also, they should be able to tell you how much a title cost (should you decide to buy it) and any additional back fees on the registration.

I was thinking just a salvage title, be cheaper insurance and im not planing on selling this unless its to a scrap yard, any other downsides to a salvage title?
