Time to join the club. 96 Classic, 4" mixed lift, 32" Dick Cepek Mud Country's on 16" Black Rock Type 8's...a work in progress but I believe it meets the basic requirements for this club.

1990xjnut- Sounds like you could climb up a wall! What kind of detroit lockers? Do you like them? How do they change the way it drives on-road? If you have a I6 4.0, does it have enough power for steep hills w/ those gears/tires? Would you do anything differently? BTW, anywhere to wheel in Idaho? Thankx for any answers.

Pretty much all i do is rock climbing. And some mud. The detroits are truetrac and they work great out wheeling. Daily driving i hardly notice them unless im turning sharp corners and my foot is anywhere near the gas pedal. On ice covered roads it gets more than interesting but you will get used to it. Then you can predict what your heep is going to do. I wish i would have put an arb or another selectable locker in the front. As in 4.0 it has plenty of power especially regeared. I also have a set of 37s i run once in awhile, so i wish i would have gone with 4.88s but 4.56s work great and i dont think it would have made that big of a difference. I will be changing out my d30 for a hp d44 when i find one. As for places to wheel there are tons of trails in murphy and mtn home area.

Pretty basic as of now. 235/75-15's, extra coil isolator up front and 3" blocks out back. Blocks are coming out soon as I get a bastard pack built. Only put them in to get extra clearance before a loaded down road trip. Fog lights are $7 a piece Harbor Freight tractor lights, but I like them because they are cheap and fairly bright.
