got it for 1k from my brother at 100 a month..
he traded his ram with a broken front end for it (he just paid 3500 to pay off the ram so hes out 3500 for the jeep lol)

Maybe in your area there are good deals. There are 2 other cherokees on craigslist. A 87 with a beat to hell body and needs motor work for 750 and a 87 that runs as good as mine but tranny is slipping for 1200.

Jeeps seem to get a premium here.

4x4 is virtually useless in CA. unless youre going up to the mountains in winter
so xj's go for dirt cheap

 

Im in Pendleton, OR we get some pretty bad snow/ice every winter. 4wd's all seem to draw a premium here however gas mileage cars are cheap as can be..

 

funny. its opposite here. cant get a beat up 90's honda for less than $2000 here
makes sense tho. good luck getting that 4x4 going again!
