Hope this is the correct forum.
Can a 1991 Cherokee body be thrown on a 1997.
Just wondering if this can be done and if it would involve major problems.
Has any of the experts here, done or attempted this.

dont really get what you areasking.......cherokees dont have a frame so you cant swap bodies.

you can however interchange body parts...but the lines wont match up the same.


first you must be a little more clear on what your asking.......

Well, I have a 1997 cherokee and am about to purchase a 1991.
The body on the 91 is much nicer, so I guess what I'm asking is, can the 97 parts, engine, drive line , etc be transferred over to it with out great difficulty.
My 97's body is worn out, so if I disconnected everything, would it bolt up to the 91.
