Wilkes-Barre aka the hood

 

Looks cold.

 

My wife has family in Port Carbon. At about 2pm they had 18" and were expecting a few more hours of 3" per hr snowfall.

 

lol I was looking for 17 pictures,,,not blizzard of 2017....

 

no pictures yet, but we got 19 inches of snow and the wind created snow drifts that are 3 to 4 feet deep

 

And I am sitting here wearing shorts and a short sleeve shirt with the ac on...

 

It was like 75*F in Boulder today

 

We lucked out on the snow (just a few inches), but got plenty of freezing rain and sleet. Everything is going to be a solid sheet of ice in the morning.

These were just taken a little after midnight here. Finally got home and had time to clean up more snow.

Can Alaska play?.. 18" of Snow and still coming down---Check..Winds 10mph out of glacier valley--Check. 28f--Check. All normal here..lol

 

I was out wheeling it in all morning yesterday. I think my shift linkage is poo poo. Can't seem to get her back in 2HI. Project for tonight. Worth the fun I had though. All my snow shoveling suburbanite neighbors turning the heads as my Jeep zips by.

We got about 3 feet. You -know- I was out there in the Jeep playing around. Until they called "emergency" and shut down every road in the county. It was my first real snow day for the Jeep since I've owned it (this winter has been fairly mild).
