Blazer Spare tire carrier on Cherokee?

was at the jy the other day and found a couple of Blazers with swinging spare tire mounts, wondered if there is any way i could slap one on my Cherokee. What do ya guys think?

i've thought this also, the only thing is the blazers are built up to support the carier on the inside. They don't jist bolt through the body. If you wanna try and beef up the inside or outside of your rig go for it and put up a how to

x2 otherwise you're just gonna have a bent/ warped spot where the carrier bolts. The cherokee tire carrier will hold up to a 31 i think. Although the spare tire carrier on the inside will hold a 31 as well. as long as you dont go any bigger it should hold fine.
way back, the 80s ones had tire carriers, as well as some early 90s fleet issue cherokees. here is one mounted on a newer xj

as for the S10 one you posted about, the rear of the late S10s have that curve to them, you'd have to deal with the mounts... old Bronco 2s were box style like the XJ, look for one of those instead...
