Hey everyone. I have been a proud member since 2006. Dang, almost 20 years. For some reason, my phone won’t let me upload my Jeep picture. 2000 Jeep XJ with a 4 1/2 inch lift, custom bumper and all the fun stuff. It was my late grandfather’s. Then mine for many years. It’s got 220 thousand and change on the clock… I was changing careers and I needed to buy an economic vehicle. It was my late grandfather‘s. Then mine for many years. It’s got 220 thousand and change on the clock… I was changing careers and I needed to buy a economic vehicle. I wanted to keep this in the family so I sold it to my nephew for $500… It was worth way, way more than that. Anyway, he was pretty rough on it and wheeled it hard as 18-year-olds do… The rear axle came apart on him on the freeway, which started a fire that pass by put out immediately with a fire extinguisher. My family has a rural property with a back 40 junkyard of old rigs, and I figuredit was destined to die. I just got a picture of the Jeep up on his new car lift in his shop. He is putting a new axle in it and doing a bunch of maintenance. I am buying it back off of him for $500… The same price I sold it to him. My son is 12 and always love that Jeep. I, for years, have kicked myself for Selling it. She was my baby. But now she is coming home and it will be his. I hope that this turns him into a car guy, and I am going to give him the full reigns of this Cherokee for him.com handle and teach him how to learn and use it. Thanks for reading and I have always loved this community. You are all amazing.
