Went to discount tire today and they told me they were discontinued. After looking to Jeepforum for answers I found its not just me stores all over are telling people they are discontinued.

I have no idea why BFG would do this.

 

I know the KM's are discontinued

I just sent a e-mail to BFG to find out for sure. Hope to hear something soon..

 

Yeah maybe there was some problem i dont they were about a month backordered all across the nation before this.

my local Americas tire has some in stock and it dont say discontinued are you talking about the new ones or the old ones

i like the km's better anyway than the km2's,maybe bfg is coming out with the 09 rubicon mud terrain only now,that thread is way different.

Just called BFG.. They are discontinuing certain size KM and KM2's, however they are re-releasing a NEW tread design in those sizes in Sept.. So they are going away.. As an example the 33x12.5x15 KM2 will discontinue its tread pattern to be replaced by the 33x12.5x15 KM2 in a "better and improved" tread design...

 

That seems kinda odd, but sounds very likely..

 

i wonder if they make a 38 in that new tread pattern?

 

Yup that makes sense I went for a set of 33's. Oh well i guess we will just wait and see the new tread design.
