Never thought about putting it in the oil . Does it kinda work on the clean out the build up then change the oil theory ?

so after running it through i havent noticed any drastic changes to throttle response or power, however my brakes seem to be a little more responsive (idk how maybe its just my imagination since nothing in the brake lines them selves were affected) and in the next week or so ill see if my MPG changed at all (hopefully for the better if it does change because 13 MPG on a STOCK ride sucks)

Quote: why just a short time in the oil?
Because its not a lubricant, it's a "cleaner", so over time it breaks down your oils main purpose. I

Seafoam thins out oil. Do note. If your jeep is running fine don't use sea foam! Works great for older cars that need a good clean.

Hey I don't know of you've done your SF yet but don't use it it's gonna blow your jeep up j/k.

In all honesty though use the link on my signature to he all theses foam answers you need. I used deep creep on my TB. It def smooth idle out afterwards on both my jeep and the altima

So my idle had smoothed out considerably (I didn't realize how erratic it was until it was gone) and I've noticed (maybe its just wishful fantasies) a moderate power increase. No obvious change in mpg though.

So after 5 months my idle is still good and my mpg has increased slightly. Also there seems to have been a slight power increase (or restore) all in all I'm satisfied with the results still after 5 months.

Was your cherokee running fine before you put the foam in or was it running bad and that prompted you to do it?
cause mines running fine but I still want to put a can in the tank, it cant hurt right?

Quote: yeah you can use it for a tb cleaner. soak your tb in it or soak your injectors.. or suck it through the tb tho it would be the same as sucking through the vac line
TB is a little more helpful than a vac line. The way I do it is through the IAC so it clean that out as well as the TB, intake, and engine.
