my buddy and i were wheeling up in Maine and the jeep momentarily paused to check out the muddy water . you can see my tire marks on the pass side thats as far as I got. its hard to tell but the drivers side was DEEP,tried to go back and forth a bit end up almost getting out in reverse but no luck.



good news was it gave me an excuse to test out the winch i had just installed

rapped a strap around a big pine tree about 80ft away

 

Oh ok it looked like a big open field I was baffled thought maybe you hooked to your friend and his incredible strength pulled you free hahaha

 

I had a bad one. Sunk to the doors with 7-1/4 inches of lift. I was too drunk to remember to take pictures. Took a jeep with a 10000 lb winch hooked to a diesel pick up as an anchor to get me out.

 

Got stuck in a marshy area with short. (ground level stumps). I always carry a tow chain & come-along. Was like 8 inches too short to hook the chain to a tree. NOTHING WORKED! I Was there and that was it. Then broke the dog's little chain a few times before I wrapped it a zillion times and got out. Just now realized the tire cable/chains where under the drivers seat (as always), all along. I carry 25' of 3/8 cable now as well.

 

i think i need a bigger lift
