http://www.discountramps.com/roof-luggage-rack.htm

  • 6.25" tall, 1" diameter side rails keep cargo in place
  • Sturdy bottom metal bars
  • Large size (62.5" x 45") provides ample room
I'm thinking of ordering of these. I think its a bit light weight, but its easy enough to add cross support bars and add a strength.

The price is right, just not real sure about about the mounting of it.
Because I would to move a tire and hi-lift to the side of it

I did end up lowering it and installed a wind fairing. Not sure the reason it sat so high.

Nates4x4 does offer mounts, I welded on my own. Rack is 7/8" steel tube.
Comes bare steel. I used an epoxy paint from a rattle can. Holds up good.
Stated weight is 65 lbs.

Drilling 2 holes on each gutter mount lowered it to 1" above roof at center.
8 holes total.
Rack uses u-bolts to mount the round bar onto 1/4" plate that rises from gutter.
