Just like putting rims on a car its all about preference. Like I used to run glasspacks when I was younger now I find them annoying.

It really depends. I'm running one now and was just gonnna leave it after the cat. Nooooooooo..... it vibrated the hell out of my floors and everything thing else in the truck and droned really bad at 2000. I had to put that tailpipe on. As I previously mentioned, I've been asked, several times now, if there is a cummins under the hood. It sounds throaty and really opens up when you punch it. Can't wait for some of the glass to burn out

in my opinion, if you want a v8 sounding loud Cherokee, get a flowmaster super 10. if you want still loud and deep but not so much that u can't hear the person next to you talk, get a super 40. if you want an aggressive sound especially one that sounds like low end torque but is quieter when cruising get a super 44. they are wicked tough, they all sound amazing, and just hands down you won't be disappointed

I've been running a Flowmaster 40 2chamber with Rusty's tail pipe for 6 years on my Daily Driver/Rock Crawler. It has taken a ton of rock hits, road salt/sand, etc. No leaks and no rattles.

If you are worried about drone then I wouldn't go with flowmasters at all. I have run the 40, 44 and now the 10 and the drone is pretty bad on all of them. The 44 didn't sound as good as the 40 in my opinion and both seemed to lose the sound around 3500 rpm's. The 10 series is the loudest and stays loud to red line. As you stated it's all about what kind of sound you are looking for. I get sick of the same sound after a few years so I'm constantly switching mufflers.

It's pretty close to the 40 series just deeper. This video doesn't do it justice but it's the reason why I went with the 10 series.
