Ok pros and cons time.
cons of side swipe
1.ok so cons of this would be that you have to buy a muffler and then a pipe and bend it to get it to where you want...that will also change the sound of the muffler....same sound you will hear more of it.
2. The second con is that takes more time
3.It would be faster and easier to put on the kit not the side swipe.

Pros.
1.ok the pros are. Lol it will look sick.
2. You will hear you muffler more from inside the cab(make sure that is what u want)
3.awsome look not to many xjs went side swept.
that's all I can think of but if it was me id go with the kit....your more likely to tear it off offroafing if its sideswept.

Note. Everytime I put sideswipe replace with side dumped. Sorry

Sadly. It's a mall crawler. So I don't have to worry too much about rocks. Is there anything I would have to look out for doing a side dump. Like co poisoning.

The stainless, all welded Magnaflow is less $ than the Walker quiet whatever with the lifetime warranty.

Check the regulations in your state before doing a side exit. It may be required for the exhaust to exit behind the passenger compartment, and good luck doing that with a 4dr.

x2 side dumped is a challenge. I know in NC it doesn't matter as long as u have a cat....but as far a I don't like Magana flow I don't like the softness. I like my flow master 44 imo. My 2 ¢

Check this out. Weld to the cat. Clamp everything else. That's the factory set up and I don't have problems with it. Works well...also makes for easy customization. Since the tail pipe is clamped can be unclamped and pulled off not cut

I'm using clamps just like the replacement muffler that I replaced. If your replacement muffler is not the same length as the one that came off you may have to make some adjustments. My Magnaflow is 8" shorter than the original and I just added in a piece of 2-1/4" pipe. IIRC, the stock muffler was 25" inlet to outlet.
