My new to me Cherokee did not come with skid plates. I don't feel safe wheeling without them. Does anyone know ones that bolt in or require limited work? I only want gas tank and tcase skids.

The JCR gas tank skid is solid. I have it on mine and have yet to put a dent in it, even though I have landed on it a couple times.

I've been debating between the JCR t-case skid and the Hooligan for an extra $80, looks even more solid than the JCR!

 

Really there is about 5 companies that make both so do some googling see what you can find at a price you like.

 

When shopping watch the thickness of the metal the cheaper ones are thinner usually.
