Rustoleum rattle can bedliner is pretty good with good prep but it does fade quick. I did my bumpers and the color faded after a few months and its hard as s*** to keep clean. Looks amazing when you first paint it just dont expect that to last. Your gonna have to be touching it up.

Yeah just make sure that before you throw a coat on it you hose it down and clean it up so that no dirt, grease, or any other unwanted debris gets painted over.

Maaco and terrible body shops, sure. You didn't even remove the molding or badging. Two hours and a few cans of cheap spray can bedliner aren't even close to body shop quality. The only time you're light sanding just the clear coat is if the paints still like new.
Not trying to crap all over your Jeep, been there and done it with cheap rattlecan bedliner and half assed prep. You'll regret it when it fades and starts peeling and turns into a major hassle removing it to do it right.

The problem with spray on bedliner is that it's basically paint, just like basic spray paint, it won't last, it scratches like paint and rubs off like paint. It looks good, I'm considering this from the upper body line down on mine. Just not sure I want to use spray on rattle can bedliner.

I did, from the body line down on mine with raptor and it looks great! I own a body shop and have been using raptor for at least 3 years with zero complaints and no fading problem yet. I think I am going to paint my jeep this summer a satin green and go over the raptor and see how it looks.
