Default Backorder on KM2's?

So apparently there is a nation wide backorder on the BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain KM2's, as i found this out after attempting to purchase 4 of them the other day, so i called up to BFG and talked to an actual person and they told me that they're going to begin producing them again sometime between now and the first week in April. I was quite dissapointed to hear this since now i have to wait to get my hands on a set of them.

Was just wondering if anyone else has encounter the same problem that i did..

There was rumor back in the summer that the KM2 was being discontinued and a new design would be introduced this year.

I was debating on moving to 17 inch wheels. When I finally decided to stick to 15s, as 17s in aluminum were going to be impossible to get in the backspace I needed. By then, they were all backordered. I probably could have gotten some if I had not been looking for the right 17s for so long. Dammit!
If this cash stays in my hand, it will be spent on something else. I am attemting to wait patiently for the stock to arrive. I hope they follow through on the estimated production. Unfortunately, 90% of backorders on anything get their dates extended again and again and again.
Keep 'em crossed!

My buddies dad is a Lt. Colonel out of Fort Carson here in Colorado...The military is using these tires for hummers/ stikers in the field. Thats a main cause of the backorder. I havent heard of any problems with the tire. Just that its been the number one tire for some time.

Bigger sizes- 37x1250 to 40s are opening up first but the 33s and 35s are gonna be the longest waits.

Which sucks cause im getting 33x12.50s
