Axel questions.

I have a 1990 jeep cherokee. I know for sure it has a dana 30 up front. How do I tell the difference from the dana 35 or the crysler axel for the rear?

Dana 35 is shaped like an oval while the 8.25 is flat across the bottom. Try searching and you'll find pictures of both.

Hmm didn't read well earlier. Not sure if 1990s even had C8.25s.

Up until partly through '96 they were the same anyway.

8.25 debuted in 91 along with the death of the Renix. OP, you should have a Dana 35.
