ok i have a problem with my jeep every once in a while where i have to put some pressure forward on the shift lever past the park position to get the starter to kick in. in the past is was only a few times but now it wont go at all. has anyone had this problem? is there an adjustment on the cable or is it just time for a new one or even a whole different problem? oh i forgot to say that it will not start in the neutral position. thanks

I did some research and it seems like the others that had the problems said it was the neutral safety switch and it needs to be cleaned? does anyone have any links to doing this?
