First up all i gotta say if for the price you cant go wrong. Now on to the goodies

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_210019.jpg
Came in this beautiful undamaged box that didn't take all that long to get here!

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_210138.jpg
Here is everything you get. Its all neatly packed in the box to keep it from getting broken.

These are how they look without the covers

The above three pictures are the areas of concern for some buyers that reviewed them. The wires are grommeted coming out the back! The cover while simplistic in design in my opinion gets the job done sufficiently, but due to constant temperature changes in kansas i'm not entirely sure how long they'll last but that should be at least a couple years down the road. Now i folded the harness in so it'd fit in picture, but you get the idea....its awfully short. I would suggest a simple wire connector kit and roll of wire that wouldn't cost more than 15 bucks and can be used for later vehicle repairs or upgrades. The supplied switch im not overly fond of but have used them with success as long as you make sure its grounded good. I didn't use it for my application because i already had a multi power switch installed for such things.

So i made these redneck a pillar brackets to mount them! (Still haven't painted them yet lol) You can see the mount/side to side adjustment thats well built and high quality for being part of a plastic housing. The other bolt is for up and down adjustment. I was kind of wary of tightening it down because it uses the two steal sides to clamp down on the plastic housing. I tightened them pretty good and it held up though! This also shows how i simplified the grounding wire. Note: i only used the supplied wire to use these even though i cut and fit them my own way

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_212443.jpg
Here is after i had them mounted up. They look monster! They are gonna catch some looks

Now on to the goodies....do they perform as good as they look?

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_212707.jpg
These are the factory regular plain jane headlights.....not so bright
See the two spots with shallow spread pattern

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_212715.jpg
These are the factory high beams as you can see they really aren't much brighter
The spread pattern is slightly better

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_212728.jpg
These are the factory fog lights. (Yes they need some adjustment lol) as they are fog lights they're not supposed to have a big spread pattern

Automatcentral 100w 7" light review-forumrunner_20120128_212740.jpg
Now look at these monsters! Brighter and wider than my high beams!!!! Wow these things got some guts

So overall:

Pros
Good wide bright beam pattern
Easy to adjust
Good quality wire and grommets used
They aren't very deep which i like
They use top quality stuff!

Cons
It does have a rear plastic housing, but it is made of durable quality plastic with a good design
Plastic covers but my opinion on them is the same as the housing

So overall thoughts are

Go buy a set because for the price these things are amazing!!!! I want another set!!!!!

Looks like a good set of lights.

FYI a 15amp fuse won't make them any brighter. Fuses don't cut down power to a certain level, they break the electrical connection when something draws more power than what the fuse is designed for. Fuses are there to prevent damage to your electronics and prevent electrical fires. If your switch has a replaceable fuse rated for 5amps then you can use it and you might just have a problem with it blowing that fuse every once in a while. If your switch does not have a replaceable fuse and just says that it is rated for 5 amps then it is not ok to use being that it could catch fire. If your switch has a replaceable fuse in it, do not put a 15 amp fuse in it. It came with a 5 amp fuse because that's what it's meant to handle. One more thing, you should really have lights that powerful running off of a relay. Doing so is MUCH safer and you can avoid the whole switch ordeal using a relay because it won't pull much power.

I put the 5 am fuse in there to limit current draw. So it may blow it every once in awhile. Its a heavy duty 5amp so it wont blow right off. It was easier than putting an amp reducer inline. When i wire i use 10 gauge to avoid burning the wires

Any chance of a vid or pics showing the distance on the lighting. Looks like a good flood pattern but want to see how far the light is thrown out there.

I got these for my roof rack I built. Great price for what they are. Basically the same as yours.

You should wire in a relay 30 amp with a 25 amp fuse as close to the battery as possible but max 12 inches away. The relay makes it so your switch wire can be a lot smaller

This is how they are currently powered. It has 10 gauge wire for positive and negative maxi fused straight to the battery

I don't know a whole lot or the formula for figuring our what Gage wire should be used exactly. My friend basically is telling me what to do and I'm Doing it!

But when I wired the lights on my bush I did 12 Gage fuse and relay for it
