Default atf in place of psf

I know in some vehicles youcan substitute art for psf. I need to know if I can use atf, I'm on the road with no store around and the pump is wining like crazy and all I have is atf.

Put it in there to get where you're going. Flush it out with PSF later.

Used this in my noisy pump a few years ago, the noise never came back.
