Default Apexi SAFC(super air flow converter) .

Hi all,

As known apexi safc is to control a/f ratio which control the signal of output from MAF sensor and makes modification to this signal and resend it to ecu to make a/f rich or lean as driver requires , so I can't find the location of MAF sensor in my 1996 jeep Cherokee ..

I'm asking if anyone tried to use Apexi SAFC for jeep Cherokee from 95-99 ??

I'm trying to use this SAFC ,but I dont find MAF sensor , SO my question how A/F Ratio is done on 1996 jeep Cherokee with 4.0 engine as it doesn't have mass Air Flow Sensor??

The 4.0s use a MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor. The sensor measures the vacuum present in the manifold to determine the load on the engine. Basically, another school of thought on determining air flow.

That pink text gave me cancer.
