i bought some new headers for my xj and they came in raw steel and i bought the VHT paint and it has to be put in the oven and heat treated. so i was wondering if anyone has ever used this and not heat treated it before putting the header on the car. thanks.

 

How did it turn out?

I'm about to put a new header on mine and it needs to be painted too.... I'm pretty sure you can cure the paint while the header is on the jeep as an alternative to putting it in your oven.
