well me and my buddies have been wheelin around together for a couple weeks.... and after seeing who can climb what, who doesnt get stuck in what,and who has to pull who out, we got bored......
we are trying to put together games we can play offroad...

so..

(example: <[played mostly at night] >{{CB RADIOS RECOMENDED}}we thought up a game called Border Patrol, we play it at the base of a mountain (30-35 acres) and we park all rigs on one side of the acreage, then the 'Patrollers' drive them to the other side and drop the Intruders off.

Then Patrollers go about their route( or camp out) makin sure no one makes it to their vehicles on the other side... on foot the Intruders sneak past the various numbers of patrolers, and stay out of their lights, and hiding behind bushes as necessary.(if caught, you can choose to: A:join Patrollers in their search for Intruders(if A occurs, you are permanantly stuck on Patrol Team.).B: get thrown in the back,and hauled back over the border.

now, to get caught:1: if Patroller sees you, he may just chase you until you get tired and surrender.2: you can try and run to a spot where jeeps cant go(unlikley)and foot pursuit can occur,if you come within 20 feet of of eachother. the Patroller can shout 'freeze!'and you are caught.if after a minute of a not catching Intruder on foot, you must disregard them and resume your normal route, so no other Intruders take any opportunities.

If you are a lucky intruder, you may reach your vehicle... congtratulations...
...youre halfway done...
you now must get back over the border.
you can also pick up fellow intruders and sneak them to their rigs(called Assist).

additional rules:
+Only Patrolers may use their CBRadios(be honest, click yours off Intruders)
+if caught you must get into Patrollers rig(but make it interesting)
+you (intruder) may only pick up one fellow intruder(to take to his rig) at a time.
+Patrollers cannot "puppyguard" intruders rigs.
+if Intruder is in vehicle and Patroller gets within 20 feet. Intruder leaves vehicle where it is(called Abandoning),and is hauled over border.(can get back in vehicle and finish the job... This is called Recovery)

(points awarded to individual teams...Patrollers and Invaders.)

Patroller catches Intruder:+5 points.+plus 2 if during foot pursuit.
Intruder is spotted, evades Patroller on foot:+5. or +3 if Patroller on foot.
Intuder is caught,Switches to Patroller:-10 points to Patrollers Team.
Intruder is caught -2 points to Intruder Team.
Patroller catches Intruder in vehicle pursuit:+20 points
Intruder escapes Vehicle Pursuit:+20 points
Intruder makes it back to vehicle after after abandoning, and Recovers it+5 points
Patroller spots Intruder+2

#BONUSES#
Intruder sneaks up on Patroller... and bangs on vehicle+50 points(if caught, no points awarded.
Intruder picks up fellow Intruder,and succesfully delivers to rig (Assist)+20 points.
Intruder makes it home free with no Patroller interaction+ 10
Patroller catches same Intruder 3 times: +15 points
Patroller catches 3 Intruders on foot: +25 points
Patrollers dont use CB Radio's +15 points

uhh that sounds kinda dangerous dontcha think? I mean what if one fell when and you ran them over? idk kinda freaks me out

 

when we follow someone we usually just keep em in sight not like 1 a foot away or nothin more like50

 

ohh well then i guess it really wouldnt be too dangerous then...may try that one day

 

You can run an off road rally, where it is not just speed, but precision driving that counts. You use the usual rally rules only off road. You can also do an off road treasure hunt. He who finds the most "treasure" wins. You can also do a combination where you have to find clues to proceed to the next clue.

Do like a Jamboree dice run. make a coarse have certain stops roll the dice highest rolls at the end wins.

or gate racing.. offroad auto cross?

 

off road autocross would be sick!!! Have a mud section-rock section-hill section-etc make it a time trial or even a race hahaha just be careful

 

ooooh i never thought about different sections of autocross...INGENIOUS!

 

okay this sounds really fun me and my friends are going to be doing this this weekend. but the most land we can use is around 20 acres now so how many vehicles would work to patrol something this size? also awsome game great idea
