Default Anyone have subs in the jeep

Okay I have the bug to get a system in the jeep this WEEKEND no matter what but idk if I need 2 12s or 1 or what I've always had little cars or a pickup I listen to country 99% of the time just lime that extra bump I want something that'll give me plenty of bump... So what do you got how does it sound I know slot of it depends on what all ya have (amp, etc)

I DO!!!! I have a 2000 watt amp with 700 rms along with one 12. Trust me, one 12 is all you need... and same here, I listen to mostly country.

I did. But then it blew. 1000 watt amp and 1300 watt sub. With the right setup all anyone needs is one sub.

I had 2 12s but it took up the whole back if my jeep and I don't dd it anymore.

One 12 should be enough. 2 is a little overkill in an xj if you ask me.

ive got 2 type r, running about 1350 rms and its plenty enough, but if you doo wheeling. be prepared to take them out and put them in depending on how much you go. or get some corner braces and bolt the subs down. thats what i did and it works great

I had 2 12's but needed room for tools. So went with 2 10's but still no room. Now no subs but plenty of spare parts and tools. 2 sets of shafts is nessasary right?

I got a 15" Kicker solo baric with a 1000 rms amp and it kicks!!!!!!i would highly recommend

Just one 10 for country music i listen to mostly country as well and my 12 is great for it but a 10 sounds better in an XJ to me but hey i got the 12 for free

Agree 10's have a quicker and tighter sound. I listen to country and mettle. High powered 10's are vary nice for dabble bass.

I have a pioneer 760w amp and pioneer champion series 12" 1200w sub in a ported box. Personally not enough for me, just don't know if i want to give up the space to add another.
