My 97 has 209,000 on it . And I do WHEEL the **** out of it . It's 110 miles one way to Rausch Creek , Pa. Wheels Blue and Black trails all day without NO problems . Then home again .
Wow.. I have 193,xxx on my 1991 Briarwood. Most of the miles seem to have been in the interior. Body, engine, tranny still strong. Suspension and seats, bad. I only have put a 1000 miles on it myself.
Mine has about 193,000. But I think it's life is about running out becaue it will intermitently tick like a clock, and just plain ticks a lot.
I have also overheated it till it died twice in one day, both while driving. I did it again on another day. The crappy pressure bottle keeps blowing the cap off and letting it overheat more. I overheated it till the cap completely blew off, I havent found it yet.... The overheating will be addressed soon with a 1991+ conversion.
Oh, and I have run it a quart low on oil for over a month.... I'm just waiting for it to throw a rod or two.
But she still starts up everytime I need to go somewhere, and has pretty decent power for a 20 year old jeep with 3.07's and 33"s.
So I get to drive my dad's 1996 stocker for a week! It has 191,800 miles, and purrs like a kitten.
