Default Another tire question........

I have a chance to pick up a set of 30X9.5 15's at a decent price........
Will they rub or will I be able to get away with that size? (1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee) Thanks!

Assuming you are at stock height. They might rub a little on the lower control arms when at full steering lock. Might also hit the flare if flexing real good off road.

...stock ride height.

I'm probably better off with a 29 inch tire.

30x9.5 15 is 29.5" diameter, you will be fine. A 235/75x15 is 28.7 and will not rub at all.

This is the general forum so it applies. And what I said applies to both an XJ or ZJ, since I have both.

Perfect.
In the past I have seen plenty of folks not read peoples signatures prior giving advice, glad you are one that pays attention.
