Been lurking and using all of your good advice so i thought i'd at least try to contribute. haven't seen this on any threads yet but it looks a little like the 97+ console cup holders. I use my xj to deliver fedex and i go off the pavement every day so not having a cup holder has been a drag. won't know how well or even if this works but i'll post the results. by the way everyone here is fantastic about sharing. all of you have been a great help and i'm not a newbie to 4x. i bought my first one in '71. all the other cup holders seem to be on at consoles and i need my ebrake. i got this at auto zone.

 

nice, throw some change in the center space to hide the self tapper and call it a day

 

thanks. yeah thought about that. sure beats putting cup between my legs or on the floor behind me. i didn't have to go out today but it will get a work out this weekend. i've got a lot of mods to do to my xj in the spring.

 

this cup holder has worked great for the last 2 years under very stressful conditions. I've taken my xj bouncing around getting firewood,etc and it has had a great field test. holds even my tall water bottle securely. never did throw any change in the middle.
